The two senses that we use all the time to fulfil our lives with imagination and enthusiasm for the cinema or a sculpture or a painting or a photograph. A photograph is the only way to capture a moment, and it relies totally upon the light at the time of the shutter opening and closing. 'Youth is wasted on the young' it is said, usually by those who have seen a lot of time pass by, but most importantly time only ever goes in one direction for all of us, so to capture a split second of time with digital photography and hold it still forever is the art of photography.
